Don't have your chocolates turn up melted! Let us pack your order with an icepack.
We have a few different sizes of icepacks to accomodate different sized orders and what is in different orders and will ship with the optimum choice based on this.
If you choose to ship without adding an icepack, your chocolates are shipped at your own risk. If they arrive melted, we will unfortunately not replace or refund them. In hot weather, we recommend buying 2 icepacks.
Icepacks and thermal boxes are reusable.
Shipping
Our Goal is to get our chocolates to you Not Melted and Not Broken and we are really good at it with 20+ years of experience behind us.
We package all chocolate orders in specially made thermal boxes with bubble wrap. Icepacks are recommended for chocolate orders to ensure your order arrives in excellent condition. This option will appear at Checkout.
We only use Express courier services which are mostly overnight but may take longer. Orders will generally only be dispatched Monday through Wednesday to avoid any risk of your package sitting in the depot over the weekend. Freeze Dried Orders and some local orders will be despatched Monday through Thursday.

In hot or extreme weather conditions (eg. floods/fires) we will hold your order until such time we believe it can be safely shipped to you. This hot weather could be at our end or your end so please don’t assume if it is cold at the destination, we will definitely send it immediately (particularly in summer). We don’t hold orders unnecessarily and if your order is urgent, please email us so we can add extra thermal packaging if required.
Each order will receive tracking notifications so you can make sure you're home to collect it.
We really need your assistance to make sure your order is accepted in optimal condition so please track it at your end and make sure you are at home when it is due to arrive – if you’re at work, perhaps use that address instead and please let your recipient know it is coming (we love surprises too but not when it’s a melted chocolate order surprise because it sat on the doorstep or something).
Make sure you check your order as soon as it arrives and if the box happens to feel a bit warm, put is straight in the fridge to get it cooled for a while before opening – just in case.

This ice pack is definitely worth purchasing as it stops your chocolates from melting during transport. It's a great add on product.
Poppy’s Perfect Packaging! Superb cooling design of actual silvery package, great labelling: fragile / perishable; chocolate all bubble-wrapped and spaces filled with ‘air’ bags - ensured all items remained intact; the cooler / ice packs and the additional silvery cover ensured everything remained ‘solid’ - nothing even looked like ‘melting’ despite the journey from Beenleigh Qld to Sydney NSW - in the middle of a heatwave week!!! All communications regarding delivery were efficient and friendly - and the Poppy’s team altered delivery dates to avoid the worst of the heat! I cannot praise Poppy enough and highly recommend their fast, reliable, effective online ordering system and delivery methods!

I ordered 8x pies and brought them around to try with the family. We loved tasting all the different flavours, my favourite had to be the Dubai Chocolate and the Strawberry Sundae. I was very impressed at how flavoursome the dried fruit was! 10/10 value for money, postage was quick and very well packaged, we look forward to trying more!

I definitely recommend the thermal box and ice pack. I live in FNQ and was hesitant because of the temps we get up here. The day my package arrived it was 30 deg in late May and while the ice pack had fully melted upon delivery, the ice pack and the contents were still cool to the touch and looked perfect.
Shipping the chocolate in an insulated box with ice keeps it in perfect condition so it won't arrive melted. Keeps in cool in hot weather.
